THE AQUARIUM is situated on the shore of the sea, right in front of the mighty local Casino. Inaugurated with great splendour on may the 1st of 1958, Constanța’s Casino has been for a long period of time the first and only institution of its type in the country.
The Aquarium’s exhibition space is reserved for permanent display of aquatic fauna and flora as well as for temporary exhibitions of various biology, aquatic ecology and marine fishing related themes.
